Format Actual Work column on Gnatt Chart

I have a project where I normally just put % Work Complete. But I wanted to
add in column Actual Work and it shows 0hrs - even though all my work is in
days and we are not doing any hourly time tracking. But I want to be able
to add in 10 days - which works fine. But the project shows 0 hrs in all
the cells. Is there a way to change them to 0 days? It just looks better
in my printout since we are only going to show days.

Also, I don't know what I did but on my Gantt chart the timeline
disappeared. How do I get it back?
