Format all cells

Is there a way to select all cells in a workbook to
format or lock & unlock protection at one time. Or do
you have select each work sheet to format?

Is there a way to select all cells in a workbook to
format or lock & unlock protection at one time. Or do
you have select each work sheet to format?

Group the sheets, and then whatever you do on one will be done to them all.

To group sheets: Select the tab of the first; then hold down SHIFT whilst
clicking the tab of the last. Or, if you really mean ALL sheets, right-click
any sheet tab and use "Select all sheets".

Warning: Don't forget to ungroup immediately afterwards! (Click an
individual tab.)
