Using word 2002, using autoformat on a 38 page document to activate
hyperlinks. This document was not originally created in word. When viewing
the styles for the document, they all show as normal. After doing the
format, autoformat the styles change and paragraph markers are removed and
text spacing is incorrect. I have the Preserve Styles checked under Tools,
Autocorrect Options, Autoformat checked. Is there a way to keep the
autoformat from removing paragraph markers? I've tried reviewing the
autoformatting changes, but I am unable to reject the change for removing the
paragraph marker. This is a process that is used daily for posting the
document on our intranet. It takes a lot of time to either put the paragraph
markers back in or individually autoformat the hyperlinks in the document.
Any insight into autoformatting, especially from the format menu would be
appreciated.
