I'm using Excel 97 SR-2. I have a cell (actually lot of
them) containing a complex number, for example, "=complex
(sqrt(3),pi())". The cell will show "a+bi" where "a"
and "b" are the irrational numbers sqrt(3) and PI(), each
with about 14 fraction digits. I'd like only 2 or so
decimal digits, but the usual formatting of this cell as
number doesn't seem to have any effect. How do I format a
cell containing a complex number?
Thanks in advance,
David
