Build your graph with all the data including the total and show your data table. Once your graph is complete, click on the "total" portion of the bar graph(selecting only the total columns), choose "Format Data Series", change the area to NONE and the border to NONE. Click OK. The total portion of the bar is now gone, and your data table is still in tact. You may have to change your scale to better fit your new graphed data. Caution: Once you select None for both border and area and click OK, you will not be able to bring that part of the graph back. [/QUOTE]
