Hey All,

I have a newbie question. How do I format the date!!!!

I type in 1/2/2004 ... and it auto changes to 2004/1/2

I don't WANT THAT >_<!! I want it the way I typed it! I
looked an dhelp ... and it says that by default it should
be: 1/2/2004 ... but it's not happening! Can anyone
please help?

Thanks,
Meilu

Meilu,

That date setting has to do with the way your Windows
setup is for the format of the date. If you use My
Computer, selection Regional Settings, and select Date,
you can change the settings to the desired way. This
setting becomes the default for the way dates are
presented in your programming.

Hi Casey,

Thanks for taking a look at my question. And also
providing a solution :) But umm ... Where is
the "Regional Settings"? Is it a folder or something?
I'm using Windows XP ... and it's all in CHINESE ...
so ... could you sort of describe what "Regional
Settings" is? @_@

Thanks,
Meilu

It's in the Control Panel, not My Computer (which is I'm sure what
Casey meant to say!) How a Chinese installation of Windows names
Control Panel I am afraid I just don't know!
