format endnotes

I trying to make my endnotes take up less space in my document. How do I
avoid that every endnote start on a new line? I would like to make them
continue on the same line as the previous endnote.

Although you can gang footnotes on the same line (by formatting paragraph
marks as Hidden), you won't save any space because Word will still allow
just as much space for them as if they were stacked. Sorry.
