Format Fcn doesn't work

Hello All:

I have run into a rather strange problem. The Format
function that is built into MS Access is no longer
working. Any query, or form that uses the Format fucntion
to format text data returns the following
error: "Undefined function 'Format' in Expression." I
tried repairing MSACCESS but that didn't seem to work.
Anyone have any suggestions?
