When i highlight text and format it (eg bold) the format applies to the whold
word document. I need to press "undo" which then leaves the highlighted text
formated and undoes the formatting on the unhighlighted sections. This is
particularly annoying especially when wishing to use multiple formating
options (eg bold, italic and coloured text) as i have double the number of
keystrokes to achieve my result being required to undo and re-highlight
before i can apply the second and subsequent format options. On previous
applications of word this has not been the case and i need to know how to
change this option to how it is supposed to work. This problem stays with
the document if e-mailed to a colleague so it is just with documents created
on my laptop. I am using Office Word 2003.
