Hi,
[using outlook 2000 and ms exchange]
I am trying to format my inbox so that when any message is received
the font gets changed a different color depending on who sent the
message - e.g. green for personal, red for work related.
I can do something like this by using "Automatic Formatting", accessed
either through defining a view, or organizing the inbox. The problem
with this, is that I can't seem to get it to recognize distribution
lists in the way I would like. I want it to color any message from a
member of a distribution list, but when I put the distribution list
name in the Automatic Formatting, it doesn't seem to work (it seems to
work as if it needs to be sent from the whole of that distribution
list).
I would add the members of these lists individually but there seems to
be a limit to the number of rules you can add in this way, so I can't
do this fully.
Does anyone have any ideas? I am currently looking at using a rule to
put an incoming message into a category, and then change the font of
all the categories, but I haven't quite got that working either.
Thanks
Glyn
