format inking on a tablet pc so ink will not move text

When I have a word document open and attempt to use inking on a tablet pc so
I am writing over the text, it causes the text to moves all over the place.
If I format each inking and use --- format -- inking - layout - on top
of text it is ok. But it seems impractical to do this everytime. Is there a
way to set this as a default setting.
Some of us using a tablet have this problem and others don't.

Although I don't see a way to set a default on a regular PC using
handwriting recognition, I would also imagine that there WOULD be such
a default on a tablet PC...plus since you mention that SOME have this
problem and some don't...I'm sure there is.

However, I would suggest you post this question to the
microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc group, since more folks there
actually HAVE tablets and can most likely advise you better.
