Hi,
I have a brand new Powerpoint file I just created in Powerpoinr 2003 that
contains one inserted .jpg image. I want to reduce the dpi of the image to
a more reasonable 96 dpi. To do this, I right click the image, select
Format picture, choose the Picture tab, then click the box "compress".
Under "change resolution" I selected "web/screen" which shows the new
resolution to be 96 dpi. After clicking OK, it appears that Powerpoint does
not change the picture resolution, nor do anything.
The .ppt file size is still the same (after saving) and going back thru the
above steps shows a resoution of 200 dpi. It appears this is a non-working
function in the brand new Powerpoint 2003 (ver 11.5529.5703).
Anyone else having this experience? --Dan
