Formated notes

I would like to see the tables available in OneNote have more formating
options.

I'm in real estate and use a form to collect information on the land sold.
In recreating the form I use to open escrow and track where a deal is I would
have liked to be able to shade, merge, split and set the justification for
rows and columns.

While it's all fine and dandy to have a free form system, often a structured
format for notes is necessary to ensure all pertinent data has been gathered.

But then that isn't "notes" it is "data." It sounds as what you really
want is a pen enabled database with fields that accept ink. I don't think
that exists yet. Give it time.

Does anyone know if Access 2007 will allow ink fields?

No Grant it's note taking. If I have someone come to me asking, did you
order title for such and such a property, I should not have to run a search.
It should be a simple process of opening my notes and looking. I.e., a
structured format.

If you want to scribble on the page without any structure, you're welcome to
do so. However, success comes not in the artist format of your notes but
rather in how well you can access the information you've recorded.
