Formating box around expanding data

I have several fields on a report that represent a line
item on an invoice. One of those fields is set to grow,
as it may or may not have additional description.

When I print the invoice, I want a box around each line
item on the invoice, but need the box to expand for those
lines that have additional description. Is this possible?

Any other formatting suggestions would be welcome if this
won't work.

Are you by chance using MSAccess? If you are then yes a
box(field) with text can be set to grow. Try posting to
the Access group for more detail.
