Formating comments

Dan Peer

Hi,
Is there a possibility to format "comments" other than only text shape
(i.e.: increasing the font, changing background color, omitting the word
"comment")? If yes, is there a possibility to keep the settings for all new
comments?
Regards,
Dan

Which version of Word are we discussing? And how/where are you viewing these
comments where this formatting should take place?

Hi Cindy,
The version is 2002. Actually I'm using the balloon comments for commenting
on a word doc so it can be distributed later on.

Hi Han,

The only changes you can make would be to the "Comment text" style. And this
could be propogated to all new comments by changing it in the Normal.dot
template.

There is no way to omit the term "Comment".

As to the background color, that can be changed, but then it would be the same
color for all authors. If you want different colors for each author, then you
have no control over which colors are used. These can be set in
Tools/Options/Track Changes? (I'm looking at Word 2003, but I think the
setting is also available in 2002)
