formating last line of paragraph

chris

In a word document with justified margins, I want to
allign the last line of the paragraph to the left. When I
select the last line and allign it to the left, the whole
paragraph becomes alligned to the left. The only way I can
allign the last line is to insert several spaces between
the last line of the paragraph and the previous lines in
addition to inserting several spaces between paragraphs.
Does this have something to do with orphan control? Any
assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

not *quite* sure what you mean with "justified margins": If you are
talking about Format | Paragraph | Alignment: Justified, then the last
line of a paragraph always IS left alligned.

Note that, for Word, a paragraph ends always with <return> and not with
a <shift return>.
