Formatting a Bulleted List in PowerPoint 2002

[NY Law Firm Trainer]

I need to create a master in PowerPoint 2002 with a placeholder to hold
bulleted text, 6 levels deep, with bullets displaying only at levels 1, 3 &5,
e.g.:

* level one with bullet
level one continued

level 2 with bullet

level 2 continued
- level three with bullet
level three continued

PowerPoint 2003 does not seem capable of more than 5 levels in a bulleted
outline, and it seems impossible to make a flush left continuing para exactly
match the hanging indent of a previous level. Does anyone know how to
accomplish this?

Hi NY Law Firm Trainer (I too used to be a law firm trainer so you have my
deepest sympathy)

Instead of creating bullet levels, just use shift+enter to create a new line
without a bullet point but with the same indentation.

Just to add to Lucy's suggestion:

You can create flush left indents by holding down the ctrl key while you
adjust the carets (grey ruler markerss)

To create a flush left indent:
Hold down the ctrl key while adjusting the carets (ruler markers)
