I have created several documents in my word 2002 and when
they are emailed to another person and viewed (they also
have word 2002) the document does not display correctly.
for example, I downloaded a brochure template off the MS
website, made my changes and saved. I then attached this
brochure and sent it to another person. When they opened
the brochure, a table that I had added was in the wrong
place, fonts that I had used were not showing, text boxes
were not displaying correctly, etc. I have also sent this
document to several other people trying to see if it is my
computer or the first users. It happens each time.

PS> I have office xp running on xp pro.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Well, with PowerPoint, if a font you've used is not available on the
recipient's computer, PPT will replace the font with something it
considers a close match. I'd assume Word does the same kind of thing. So
that could be one issue. Hopefully someone with more Word knowledge will
confirm one way or the other.

The other issue is printer drivers, as Word is very dependent on these.
Different printer drivers will cause the Word document to display a bit
differently.

You might consider creating a PDF of the file. That should help with
your issues, but your recipients wouldn't be able to make changes--so if
that's the goal, that's not the solution.
