I have a table that I am populating with data from Excel.
The table is created by using mail merge, and then I paste
the table into the longer document that I am working on.
My problem is that the table contains two long columns of
numbers formatted as currency. When it is merged to a
Word document, the columns retain the dollar sign, but
lose the comma separator for 1000, and it automatically
inserts spaces between the dollar sign and some of the
smaller dollar amounts. For example, $ 5.00 and $10000.
Is there a way to apply the desired formatting to the
entire column? Currently, I have to go in and fix each
cell manually, and that is very laborious.
Thanks, Lee
