Formatting Custom Flag Fields For Customized Bars In Combined Proj

I've follwed the directions in the FAQ 31 ---

I've made the customized flag. Got the Bars formatted -- but when I put the
projects in the Combined Project.... I'm still not getting the correctly
formatted fields.

Do I have to create a column for each of the flag fields in th combined
project? And another column for each customized field?

Did you change the views in the subproject and then insert it into the master
project? Or did you change the views in the master project, which then had
subprojects inserted?

That latter should work, not the former.

Multi-Project,
Just a little expansion on what Andrew said. With regard to views and
formatting, a master file and it's inserted subprojects are independent.
In other words, a custom formatted Gantt Chart view in a subproject will
not show up as a customized formatted view in the master and vice versa.
Each file must be separately formatted.

Copy the New View to the Global.mpt file using the Organizer (Tools menu).
Everything in the Global.mpt file is available to all your projects.
