I am developing a floor plan using Visio. I am linking it
to an Excel database so I can include specific info about
each piece of equipment.
I am able to add fields to the Visio shape. The question
is: Is there any way to force the field lines to wrap
within the shape? I am trying to keep the boxes
relatively small as there is a large number of shapes to
fit on one page. I have pushed the font size down to 4pt
but lower than that is unreadable.
For example, I have two fields linked to teh database in
my test layout. First is the equipment ID. No problem as
it is only 7 characters long. The second is the
description which varies from 15 to 50 chracters long.
Without wrapping I have to size the shape too wide to
accamodate the text.
Any ideas are helpful.
