Formatting Fileds in Microsoft Project 2003 Standard

I am cutting and pasting a column of date values from a
Microsoft 1997/98 file and into a Project 2003 Standard
file. When I cut and paste the time is displayed with the
date. I do not want the time included. I have gone to the
tools customize field's section and change the date
setting it does not make the change.

Why???

Hi,

Project has every date in minutes so it will always store it including time
of day.
However you do not need to display it.
Go to Tools, Options, View, and select the date format you prefer.
