formatting general and table of figures

Hi,

I am using word 2007 beta 2. I am having two problems when generating an
automatic Table of Figures.

1. I want to have the figure captions double spaced from one another. No
problem there. But for a single figure caption which spans on two or
more lines, the reference in the Table of Figure should be single
spaced. So, each caption single spaced within itself, and double spaced
with respect to others. Is there a way to format this in the table of
figures?

Is there a general way of doing this: make numbered items double spaced
from each other, but single spaced within themselves?

2. I am giving the option of right aligning the page numbers, with
"...." tab marks. Now for some of the caption references in the table of
figures, the page number is not right aligned bu appears next to the
caption. This is not universal over the whole table. I am wondering if
this is a bug or a setting that I have to tweak.

I will appreciate any help, formatting this document is killing me!.

thanks.

1. Add some Spacing Before/After to the entry using whatever compares to the
old Format | Paragraph dialog.

2. Generally, pressing Ctrl+Q will straighten out these errant entries, but
if many of the captions are quite long, you might want to consider adding a
right indent to the TOC or TOF style so that the captions wrap short of the
page number (the tab stop stays at the right margin).
