Formatting guestbook results page

C

Chazman

Set up a guestbook and all works well... except i hate the format of the
output. Is there any way to add a personal touch to the results? The default
"laundry list" is a little boring. I open the guestlog.htm but it doesn't
seem to have the "template" that shows how to format the incoming data. Is
this something I can edit or am I stuck with what the wizard gives me. I was
going to go to database results on the form but I need to install asp on my
host and they want $40/year (that way I can easily edit the page gathering
the mdb data). Any suggesitons on getting a "custom" looking guestbook?
Thanks.

You are limited to the format you see.

If you are hosted on a Unix/Linux server, you can use ASP, but not Access, so you might want to look
into using PHP and MySQL.

If you are hosted on Windows IIS, there really should be any additional cost, by that depends on the
account packages offered by the host.
