I need to know how to format my paper to make it double spaced. I've got a
paper due and it has to be double spaced, and I know that there is a way to
format it as such, but I don't know how that is. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!

Are you trying to double space your OneNote notes, or did you mean to post
this in a group for another application? This group only supports OneNote.

Yes, this is for OneNote. I'm a college student and have written all of my
papers with OneNote, but this specific paper requires certain margins, which
I also can't seem to figure out how to change, and it must be double spaced.
I know that there must be a way to format is as such, but I can't figure out
how. I've tried to figure it out with the microsoft OneNote help area, but
the answer the software came up with didn't help me at all. Thanks for
anything you can do to help me out!

I'm really not sure on the line spacing, but the format of the page is under
File/Page Setup, including a section for Print Margins. I've never used
double-spaced lines in OneNote, and can't really find any option for that.
If you're typing the paper, I would insert the extra space with an Enter at
the beginning of a line. Hitting Enter at the end of the line will throw a
horizontal space at the beginning of the next line. 8-(

Use the right tool for the job. Use OneNote for taking notes, use Word
for actually writing your paper. You can copy and paste text from your
notes into Word and use Word's superior formatting capabilities to
make the paper look the way it's supposed to look.

Word's capabilities will be especially appreciated once you start
putting in footnotes, headers or footers, page numbers, illustrations,
tables, and formulas, and captions on illustrations, tables, and
formulas, tables of contents and lists of tables and figures, an
appendix, etc. I just finished a thesis and I wouldn't dream of
attempting that job with OneNote. OneNote was invaluable in collecting
data and organizing notes, much superior to Word. OneNote is a great
tool, but it's not the only tool in the toolbox.

RK is exactly right - OneNote isn't intended for creating finished
documents. Not anymore than you would write your term paper on a yellow
legal pad.

Copy/paste your rough notes/text from OneNote into Word and finish there
where you have all kinds of rich formatting options.

You need word for a paper. Onenote is not a document writing program... its
just for your notes, and notetaking. You can setup double spaceing in word.
