Hello,
I am opening a word document from 2 machines.
Eventhough no visible differences in formatting at first glance, when
inspected more deeply, I find differences in the look of the word
document. For example, say the 10th line in the word document shows as
'At 1.3" ' in machine1. The same line in machine2 shows as 'At 1.4".
(lines 1 through 9 shows same "At position"). This continues for other
lines also randomly.
Say 21th line starts At 5.5" in machine1 and it starts at 5.6" in
machine2.
Both machines are identical. Both have:
Windows 2000
Office 2000 (Word 2000)
Same Style definitions in the document in both machines
Same Fonts installed in both the machines
Same printer set as default in both the machines
Same page margins
Same Format->Font settings. (same character spacing etc)
Same Format->Paragraph settings (same line spacing etc)
Same Tools->Option->Compatibilty versions.
No Font Substitutions in both the machines.
Well, what else can I check to see what causes these differences?
Pls help.
Regards
