formatting in document is too complex

I am having a similar issue. The document I am opening is a .docx and when
using Word 2000 I get the message that the doc is too complex. I have the
2007 compatibility fix loaded on the station. The numbering in the doc
appears to get out of wack too. I don't seem to have a problem with this on
my 2003 station. Any ideas what this could be?
