I suggest using the Character Map application (normally on Windows
System Menu) to select a bullet to the clipboard, then paste it in where
you want it.

AFAIK, you can't format Project's text as you would in a word processor
like Word (which may be what you are expecting).

When you import that text into Word, you could create a new style
called, say "Project Task", assign all the tasks to that style, and
format the style to be bulleted.

Interesting that you have to go to the work of bringing this data into
Word ... seems like re-work to me. Isn't it good enough to use Project
to display project schedules?

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

"Bullets" in Word aren't just the character but also include some formatting
(indenting) information.

If you want to merely include the character then you might try this:

1. Click on the Task name that needs a bullet.
2. In the entry bar at the top click on the far left to set the cursor's
insert position.
3. Press and hold the Alt key.
4. In sequence, on the numeric keypad, press and release 0 1 4 9
5. Release the Alt key.

I agree with you whole heartedly but unfortunately my
company wants implementation schedules in Word. I have
tried all the suggestions that I have received but it has
does worked quite how I expected. I want my task to look
like this in Project

This is a test task
.. IP 1
.. IP 2

etc.

Well ... it will just have to be manual work. Maybe after doing it a
few times in Word you can detect the pattern of how to reformat to be
formatted how you want, and then you can write a macro in Word to do it
for you. All depends on what you and your bosses want ... (ensure they
understand the cost, in money, for this).

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Not sure what you mean by "get the formatting in Project as well." Could
you please describe what you are trying to achieve -- I _might_ be able to
help (no promises!)
