Formatting Issue for Mail Merge Text

Hi,

I am mail merging from a FileMaker Pro 9 DB. When the text is merged into the document it appears to have overridden the formatting of the text fields. Any way to stop this?

Try adding the following switch to your merge fields: \* MERGEFORMAT

It should go in last, after any other switches, right before the field
bounding character "}"

You don't say which version of Word you are using, so all I can suggest is
that you look up the fields in the Help.
