Formatting issue with track changes

BAM

While working on a legal document, the red underline is including text within
a line that should not be included. It is also bolding the text. I am unable
to turn the bold feature off for the line or the text in the area that should
not be bolded. I tried clear formatting, changing it to Normal Style and find
and replace formatting. Can you help???

Is this Word 2007? Note that you can prevent Word from tracking formatting
changes. On the Review tab, click Track Changes, and then click Change
Tracking Options. Clear the check mark next to "Formatting" and click OK. You
will then have to accept any formatting changes that Word has already tracked.

Does this problem remain when you view "final version"?
