Formatting Line Numbers

I have enabled line numbering in an API document to provide numbered lines
for the code sample. I got the line numbers in the section I want and I even
turned off line numbers for the headers and intro text.

The problem is that the line numbers are formatted with an outline that goes
half way across the page. This outline only appears as a partial outline
around the line numbers when viewing the document in Print Layout. It
actually prints the outline box half way across the page when printed. I also
created a PDF version in testing this and the outline appears on the PDF
pages as well.

I have accessed the Style Formatting for the Line Number style and there is
no outline defined for the style. When I turn on outlines, the outline is
inside this automatic outline.

What is this and how do I get rid of it?? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

Suzanne was nice enough to ask for a sample.

When I went to open that Word document from yesterday, the automatic outline
was no longer in the document (!!!???). I tried to recreate and could not. I
tried to open the PDF and receive an message that there was an error
attempting to open and read the file.

So, I cannot produce a sample and cannot recreate. Not sure what the problem
is with this - but it is resolved and I can continue with my API
documentation.

If/when it appears again - I will forward a sample to Suzanne.
