Formatting Marks

Hi I have just received an attachment and when I transfer it to Word by cut
and paste and reveal the formatting I get some strange formatting marks.
Where can I find a list of formatting marks and what they are? and how to
get them?

The 2 strange ones are a pointing back bent arrow and 2 small OO 's

Hi Sophie,

The bent arrow is a manual line break, inserted by pressing Shift +
Enter.

The two o's could be nonbreaking spaces. Try inserting a nonbreaking
space by using Ctrl + Shift + Space and comparing them.
