Formatting of placeholder and ClipArt does not appearin normal vie

Hello,
I want to add a piece of clipart so that it appears in front of the main
text placeholder throughout my presentation.
Within the slide master the main text placeholder has a fill colour with no
transparency and I have added the clipart and positioned it over the
placeholder and have then via the 'Order' command sent the main placeholder
'to the back' and brought the clipart 'to the front' and this appears as I
want within the Slide master view.
However when I come out of the slide master view the clipart is hidden
behind the placeholder.
How do I get this to appear as I require, as I have many slides in the
presentation I thought that the best way would be to try this via the slide
master.

You cannot do this in versions before 2007.

You will need to paste the picture onto every slide where you need it to get
what you say. This is pretty quick if you use pagedown and then ctrl V or if
there are a lot of slides some simple vba would do it.

Any text added won't flow around the picture no matter what you do though so
it's hard to see how this will work.
