formatting palette gone mad!

When I click the icon on the tool bar for the Formatting Palette, the FP
flies from the tool bar to below the bottom of the screen out of sight.

When I click again it flies back up to the tool bar again out of sight. I'd
like to use it, but I can't catch it.

Any suggestions how to get it back on the Desktop?

I'm using a MAC. Is this Bill Gates Revenge??

We all use Mac's (usually not all caps) in this group.

Often the cause for this is that the formatting paletted was moved when
a higher screen resolution was in use, then lowering the resolution
caused the palette to be placed off screen.

Couple ways to fix this:

1. Increase the screen resolution and move the palette back toward the
middle of the screen.

2. Type OPT-F11 to enter the Visual Basic Editor. Open the Immediate
window by typing CMD-G. Type or paste these into the Immediate Window,
each followed by RETURN.:

Application.CommandBars("Formatting Palette").Top = 50

Application.Commandbars("Formattng Palette").Left = 50

then type OPT-F11 to return to XL.

You can then move the palette where you want it.
