Formatting palette lost off screen

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Somehow my formatting palette has drifted off screen and is not reachable with my cursor. Any idea how to recover it?

I have the exact same problem, just occurred today, but the palette can still be seen in full screen view. I'd appreciate any help

I just found another topic in the forum that addressed this issue with a link for a fix that worked like a charm, I'm not technical but the directions were easy and it worked. Apparently disappearing formatting palettes are common. Hope it works for you as well. Here is the link:
