Formatting palette opens out of sight

When I open my Format Palette from the toolbar, the palette quickly opens
and flies below the bottom of the screen on the right-hand side. How can I
fix this?

Hi Melina-

Go to Tools>Customize Formatting Palette... and adjust the settings
there.
