Close the "Font" panel, open the "Style" panel, and make your change there
When you have finished, check the "Add to Template" box to save the style to
your template for future re-use.
Have a look at the Course " Format your document by using styles" in the
Word help, then follow the topic " Define a style" immediately below it.
Hint: You do not have to go to all the bother of defining a "whole" style.
Word contains more than a hundred built-in styles, pick an appropriate one
and change the font to your liking.
Don't forget "Add to template" or your change will be saved only in the
current document.
