Folks,
I am using Word as my editor for new messages and for replies. This means
that when I reply to a plan text message, Word open up and uses Plain Text
as the message format. Here is the problem:
All paragraphs are set to 0pt above and 12pt below, which tends to result in
what is effectively double-spacing. I know this is happening because 1) if
I view formatting, I can see that there is really only one paragrapgh marker
for every two lines, and 2) if I change into HTML mode, and view the
properties for the paragraph, it indicates 0pt above and 12pt below.
My question is: how the heck do I change this? Why (or, rather how) is Word
applying paragraph spacing in Plain Text mode! At the moment, I am forced
to change to HTML mode, change the formtting for Plain Text sections to 0pt
above and 0pt below, and then change back to Plain Text mode. What a drag!
I set the formatting for Plain Text in my email.dot file, but this has no
effect. Is email.dot even used in Office 2003?
Thanks is advance for all suggestions.
