Formatting problem with Outlook signatures

Hello,

I'm having a formatting problem with my Outlook signature. When I make my
signature using word (with advanced edit) the line spacing shows up as double
spaced on my signature, even though it's single spaced in word. I fixed this
by opening Word separately, making a signature, then copy-and-pasting it into
the non-advanced editor. It looked ok when I composed a message, but when I
sent it to another email address the signature was in a weird font similar to
wingdings. Any help on fixing this would be appreciated.
