On my G3 Powerbook (9.0.4, Microsoft Office 98), I have been
experiencing formatting problems. First, all the column widths go to
'0' width when I close then reopen the file. I can correct this by
going to format>>Column>>unhide. Then I find the formatting of my
dates is not correct. When I expand a column by dragging, sometimes
they will spring to '0' width and other times they will expand but the
value stays as "####" regardless of width. Checking the format of the
column (date) it is the same as I have always used but wont't actually
express in that format on my spreadsheet.
Do I need to simply reload the EXCEL software or trash some of the
preferences?
