Formatting problems with text input tool

When I am outlining with ON2007 using the text input tool, if I start a new
sentence by hitting enter on the tool, then write my text and insert it, it
either inserts the text on a previous line or skips a line and doesn't enter
at all.

In order to properly enter outline or numbering I have to insert text at the
end of an existing line of text then insert cursor betweeen the two line and
press enter with the tool.

Is this a problem with my Motion Tablet or a bug in ON2007?

You mean the TIP? I usually use the Enter, Backspace and Tab keys on the
TIP to place the insertion point to where I want it for the next part of
the outline and then create/insert the text for that line.

Alternatively, you can turn on the Outlining toolbar and then set the
outline level after the line has been created.

This is different behavior that what I experienced with ON2003. Is this
planned. When I use ON2007 with my desktop I don't have any of these
problems.

To restate, I use TIP and I am in an outline and I have completed a
sentence. I press enter and it jumps to the next line (as I would expect) I
write the text and when it translates to type and I press insert, it doesn't
enter in the line. Sometimes it enters in the body of a previous sentence,
sometimes not at all.
