Formatting resume

My recruiter says that her client (a potential employer)
has a new Word program that detects when someone has
someone else's templated, deleted and input their own
information. How can I tell if my resume has that? I've
used the same template for years. I'd appreciate any
suggestions.

Well, this is a somewhat different question from your previous one, which I
have already answered. You don't say what version of Word you have, but you

If you have Word 2002 or 2003, you can get the Hidden Data Removal tool at

For what you are asking about, it should suffice to use Save As to save your
document under another name, making sure that the document Properties
contain the correct information (your name, for example). If the Properties
show the document as based on any template other than Normal or Word's
Résumé Wizard, you might want to attach the Normal template instead (but
don't check the box for "Automatically update document styles").
