formatting tab in worksheet

Utilziing Excel 2000 (9.0 SP3) is there any way to format
the appearance of a tab name?

Bob,

'Fraid not. XL2002 allows coloured tabs, but that's it.

Try this:

Right-click on your desktop and choose Properties>Display>Advanced>
Scroll Bar>*set the size to suit your needs*>OK>OK>OK.

Note: Even though there is no indication you are setting the Font, it is
enlarged with this setting.
