Formatting text in mailmerge document

I have a mailmerge document consisting of varying number
of pages each time it is run. Each page is a seperate
letter to a given company. The merged data is being
pulled in from an external data source. On each page is a
line containg data similar to:-
Ref: Acc No:000038 Amount: August £ 1038.42
This line can be any give length depending upon the
figures being returned. Is there a way, by using a macro,
that I can select the corresponding line on each page and
change the format to bold and underline?

Hi Mick,

Add a \* CHARFORMAT switch to the Mergefield and then apply the formatting
that you want to the M of Mergefield.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
