Hi,
A friend built a basic discussion board with Frontpage and it all seems to
work, except that some of the input, from a <textarea> box is not properly
formatted. If one types:
one
two
three
four
It comes out like:
one two three four
The browser is ignoring the CrLf characters as it is supposed to do. The FP
system creates a buch of .htm files in a _discussion folder calles
0000000x.htm (where x is the reply number). I can find the <textarea> input
within these files - it is surrounded by <p> and </p> tags which is pretty
DUMB. If it used <pre> and </pre> we wouldn't have a problem. So I went
looking for some sort of template that is reponsible for formatting these
files, but I can't find one- anywhere.
This should be sooo simple if only the dim-wit hadn't used f*****g
FRONTPAGE - you have no idea how much I despise that app.
Can anyone tell me how I might fix this - or is it just beyond the wit of
Frontpage?
