Formatting text within cells

S

Steve P.

How can I set Word 2003 so I can format a sentence within
a cell without formating the whole table?
If I select a sentence with or without the paragragh mark
at the end and format with bold, italics or underline -
the whole table acquires that formating.
If I format part of the sentence and then format the rest
of the sentence the fromating only applies to the
sentence but this feels a bit kluggy and less then
elegant!

Any help out there?

Thanks!
