Formatting the Project Bar to show starting hour

How can I format the project bar to read the starting hour of the task. If I type the time in after the date, the bar will show it at the correct hour but in a large project trying to see the hour at the top is difficult. I would like the start time to show at the beginning of the bar.

Hi Dan,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project forum

Assuming you're using Project 2010, from the Format ribbon, select the Format tab. Then select bar styles to see the bar styles dialog. There, select the bar Name and at the bottom, select the Text tab. Click in the Left space and then click the drop down arrow and find Start / OK. That should doit.
