Formatting the usergroup

In the old usergroup, when a message had been read, it would appear in grey
text rather than black. This was very handy, as you could immediately see if
you had read a post or a reply. This usergroup doesn't seem to have the same
facility. Is there a way to "switch this on" or is this not possible?

If not, is there any way we can get the administrators to include this
feature?

You can still read this newsgroup using a newsreader like Outlook Express,
Agent or a host of others. How are you currently reading them?

By going straight to the MSDN web site at

I also viewed the old site at its "source", not through any other newsreader.

I suggest you try using a real newsreader. It makes life much easier if you
are going to spend much time in newsgroups.

XNews, Agent (and the free version FreeAgent) and Outlook express are all
widely used.
