I mailmerged in Word2000 with data from an EXCEL2000 file, and everything
worked.
Now I got WORD-XP, and nothing works.
I have many problems
The most urgent ones are :
1. While in WORD2000, I could have a look in the EXCEL-datafile, and even
change things in it. Doesn't this work in WORD-XP ?
2. Why do I get "137.03999999999999" in my merged document when the
EXCEL-datafile says "137.04", formatted as a number with 2 decimals ? Ans
why do I not get this in all the records, although they are formatted in the
same way ?
3. Why do I get "9/1/2004" in my merged document when the EXCEL-datafile
says "1/9/2004", formatted as a date like "14/03/2001" ?
4. Why do I get "11/1/1994" in my merged document when the EXCEL-datafile
says "1/11/1994", formatted as a date like "mmm-jjjj" (= Dutch for
"mmm-yyyy") ?
Can somebody help me ?
Thanks,
Gilbert
