Forms and FrontPage extensions

Hi. I'm using fp2003 and have a simple form on one of the pages. I'm trying
to upload the file through the frontpage publisher, but it's telling me that
the web-site I'm trying to upload to does not have the windows sharepoint
services installed, which could be caused by the frontpage extensions not
being installed. I've spoken to the hosts and they say they do not support
sharepoint services, but they do frontpage extensions! Has anybody else come
across this? Is there anything I can do?
Thanks
Nickyboy

If they have FP extensions installed and working on your web, that's all you
need (usually).

Whats the URL to the website?

Does NOT appear to have FP extensions installed:

Typing in http://www.essexlocal.biz/_vti_inf.html should return a page
about FP extensions...in your case you get 404'd - file/page not found.

| Hello Rob, the URL is www.essexlocal.biz. I'm a bit miffed!!
| Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Supporting FP extensions may not necessarily mean you have them installed
with the hosting package you purchased. In olden days hosts charged extra
for fp extensions (not so much now)...or maybe you did not specify you
actually wanted them on your web (?).

| Many thanks, shall go back to host and ask what they're playing at!!
